PhD in Electrical Engineering;
Prior to founding Tatch, Amir was a postdoctoral fellow at Cornell Tech University where he investigated commercial applications for flexible electronics. Amir received his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Information Systems from the University of Tokyo and holds a double major degree with honors from Technion, Israel. When he’s not researching sleep habits, you can find him traveling, cooking, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with his family.

Prior to founding Tatch, Adi was a senior software engineer at Algotec where he pioneered smart analysis of 3D medical images for diagnostic purposes and served as the Director of Fraud Prevention at Matrix IF5. Adi holds a B.Sc with honors in Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University, Israel (Talpiyot) and served as a senior software developer in unit 8200 in the Israeli Army. After living in New York City for 12 years, Adi is back with his family in Israel. In his free time you can find him DIY-ing just about anything and putting together complex puzzles
Dr. Stephanie ZandiehMedical advisor
Dr. Stephanie Zandieh is the Division Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Zandieh is the author of several peer-to-peer reviewed articles and book chapters in the fields of health services research, pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine. She lives with her wife, two-year-old son and baby girl in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. When she’s not with patients, you‘ll find Dr. Zandieh playing a mean game of Rummikub or swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.
Prof. Sonia Ancoli-IsraelScientific Advisor
Sonia is a professor Emeritus and a professor of research at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine. Dr. Ancoli-Israel is Past-President of the Sleep Research Society (SRS) and was on the founding Executive Board of the National Sleep Foundation (NSF). Retired, but somehow still working avidly on sleep technology, Sonia does make time to spend with her grandchildren and is currently writing her travel blog: JourneyswithSonia.com
